Yesterday, I put up a Halloween spider web outside. I checked the weather forecast a few days before that to make sure no windy days were in store. With only 3 days to go til Halloween, my window of opportunity was closing fast. Last year I hung the web a week before Halloween and a blustery day nearly wiped it out. Anyway, the highest wind in the 7-day forecast was 14mph.
Well, this is Saturday, and I hung the web yesterday. Today it looks like a deranged spider made it. The wind is a VERY blustery 25mph with 30mph wind gusts. Maybe I’ll try ghosts next year instead of a web. At least if the wind blows it will look natural for the ghosts.
